Boyne Mountain Renovates Lodging and Offers Enhanced Golf Options


At Boyne Mountain Resort of Boyne Falls, Michigan the 2012 golf season features a half million dollar newly remodeled Clock Tower Lodge and a forthcoming renovation to the Boynehof hotel, discounted day of arrival play, fresh bunker sand on The Monument course and new Ten Play Cards.

Half Million Dollar Lodging Renovation

The iconic Clock Tower Lodge at Boyne Mountain Resort has been extensively renovated. The modernization includes a complete remodel of the hotel rooms and suites including new lighting, décor and fixtures throughout, as well as fresh paint, and redesigned and upgraded bathrooms. Construction is expected to begin on the adjoining Boynehof hotel this summer. The half million dollar two-phase project includes 42 guest rooms and upgrades to common areas. Located in the Village of Boyne Mountain, the Clock Tower Lodge and Boynehof hotel offers golfers well-appointed accommodations situated close to eateries, bars and lounges and a golf apparel shop.

Discounted Day of Arrival Rounds and Package Enhancements

New this season, day of arrival rounds can be added to any BOYNE golf lodging package for only $20! Tee off as early as 11 a.m. and get a jumpstart on your golf vacation. The $20 discounted play is available on Boyne Mountain's The Alpine and The Monument courses. Golfers staying on packages can also add-on the award-wining Bay Harbor Golf Club for free during select dates in May, and otherwise, for just $35-$63. In addition, package guests receive a $25 Odawa Casino gaming voucher and have access to transportation to and from the casino located in nearby Petoskey. For the 2012 season, Boyne Mountain has a Room and Round package starting at $74 per person and Unlimited Golf from $96 per person. Golfers have access to play eleven courses within BOYNE's collection.

Fresh Bunker Sand on The Monument Course

A bunker renovation is continuing on The Monument course at Boyne Mountain. The bunkers' new sand will improve player conditions and consistency, while also enhancing the course aesthetics. The resort has also repaved the nearly mile-long scenic drive to the first tee creating a smoother ride for golfers.

New Ten Play Cards
BOYNE is also unveiling new Ten Play Cards for the 2012 season. Golfers can buy the cards this spring, which provide ten rounds of golf at discounts of up to 35% with the Gold Ten Play Card and up to 45% off with the Silver Ten Play Card. Play is offered on Boyne Mountain's The Alpine and The Monument, as well as four additional sister courses - Crooked Tree Golf Club of Petoskey, The Moor and Donald Ross Memorial at Boyne Highlands Resort and Hidden River Golf & Casting Club of Brutus. Gold Ten Play Cards are $575 for the ten rounds and card holders can play any day, unlimited. Silver Ten Play Cards cost $475 and are valid daily in May and October, and Sunday through Thursday in June, July, August and September.
