Golf Course Information
Description
Stunning golf vistas. A charming Bavarian motif. A mile-long golf cart ride up the back of Boyne Mountain leads to some of the best golfing in northern Michigan. Once you've experienced the 36 holes of spectacular golf that make up The Alpine and The Monument courses, you'll remember exactly why you're in love with the game. From the moment you arrive, the Boyne Mountain difference is clear.
Beyond stunning views, these courses were designed for golfers' golf. Beautifully rendered and inspiring, The Alpine and The Monument reveal something new from one round to the next. And when the night falls, and the clubs are tucked away, the experience keeps on going. With a wide range of accommodations, a world-renowned spa, shopping and a long list of amenities, there's no better place to call home while you explore all that is BOYNE Golf.
The Alpine
Each year, The Alpine plays host to Michigan's Tournament of Champions. And once you played the course, you'll understand why. With its spectacular mountain setting and panoramic views toward Deer Lake, its surroundings are every bit as breathtaking as its noteworthy design. Known for its open playable layout that trends down the mountain, solid drives are rewarded and its forgiving greens can bolster confidence in your short game.
The Monument
Crafted with nod to the design philosophies of a long list of legendary golf course architects, The Monument's ever-changing personality packs an unending list of surprises for players at every level. Borrowing traits from designers like Donald Ross, Dr. Alister Makenzie, Robert Trent Jones, George Fazio, and Pete Dye, The Monument lives up to its name as it pays homage to the game's most important influences - with holes dedicated to noteworthy and key contributors. The course requires a complete game, with demanding fairways, and undulating greens that reward careful putting.
