The Rock at Drummond Island Resort, located in Drummond Island, is a Resort course. From the back tees, the course will challenge even the best of golfers. The Rock at Woodmoor was designed by Harry Bowers and opened in 1987.
Island greens. Long tree-lined fairways. Dog-legs left. Dog-legs right. Abundant wildlife - deer that actually come into play on some holes. The people who love this course play to all levels. They like The Rock because it's an experience, not just a round of golf.
This emerald was cut out of limestone and is trimmed by hardwood and cedar, crafting each fairway separately over 400 acres. Play on The Rock is controlled. Each group of golfers is in their own game, and virtually isolated from other golfers. Each hole has four tees and therefore, four possible challenges to choose from.

GOLF LESSONS
Single Lesson $35 per half hour
6-session lesson plan: $200 (typically one or two lessons per week)
3-session lessons plan: $100
Short Game Lesson Plan: $250 (4 lessons, 60 minutes each)
(Specific focus is on short game skills, namely, short and long chip shots, pitch shots, bunker play and putting.
On the course playing lesson
9-holes, $100; 18-holes, $175, (plus golf course green fees as required)
GOLF CLINICS
The Rock will be hosting Golf Clinics for juniors and beginners throughout the summer. Space is limited so the instructor can spend enough time with each student. These clinics will teach: correct grip, stance and basic shots that are used on the golf course, and address full swing, chipping, pitching, bunker shots and putting.

Rustic elegance in a unique, comfortable setting. Each of our executive-style cabins and cottages are entirely unique. With a view of sunsets and the bay, these are proving to be in very high demand. We have several other cottages and log homes available. Most of these 1-5 bedrooms units feature private bathrooms in every bedroom, fireplaces and firewood, full kitchens with coffee makers, comfortable living rooms and grills for that memorable evening barbecue.
