This classic C.D. Wagstaff designed golf course reflects the architecture of the first half of the 20th Century. Although Wagstaff may not be as well known as a Ross or MacKenzie, "I never hear of clubs wanting to restore their Joe Roseman or C.D. Wagstaff," Golf Digest course critic, Ron Whitten, once wrote. Put the golf game aside for a moment, enjoy the fragrance of cherry blossoms from nearby orchards, the birds and wildlife that abound from the Northern Michigan surroundings. Or just sit and gaze at the picturesque sunset as it drops behind the Sugar Loaf mountain.

Driving Directions

18 miles Northwest of Traverse City, Michigan
Take M-72 West about 9 miles, turn right onto county road 651 to Cedar. Go through the town of Cedar and on the North end of town, keep to the left at the blinking yellow light. Travel about 5 miles until you reach Bodus road and turn left. Sugarfoots Saloon will be on your right at this intersection. Take Bodus road until it ends at Townline road and make a right. Your second left will be into our parking lot.
