LochenHeath Golf Club Breaks Ground on the Cottages
LochenHeath Golf Club has broken ground on developing new high-end, on-site cottages.
Traverse City, Michigan, January 9, 2019
The first phase will include two cottages of a six-cottage enclave located just a short stroll from the clubhouse and practice facility. This will allow golfers to play and stay at LochenHeath.
The spacious layout of the 2,400 square foot cottages includes four en-suites, an expansive common living area, gas fireplace, and a screened-in deck. The designer kitchen features all top end appointments. Mapleridge Construction is the general contractor, paired with Shane Inman from the Inman Company as the lead designer.
“ The goal of the Cottages is to attract more National Members to enjoy the on-site lodging and the natural beauty of LochenHeath. Players want to stay for a weekend for a full golfing, lodging and dining experience,” states Kevin O'Brien, General Manager. “We have worked hard to build our brand, and Golf Digest has now labeled us as a ‘ Best in State’ course. As we move toward becoming a completely private course, having on-site lodging is instrumental in moving toward this goal.” The Cottages will be available for rental by summer 2019.
Currently, LochenHeath is a private club allowing limited outside play. For more information, please contact LochenHeath Golf Club at 231-938-9800 or visit www.lochenheath.com
